Another successful Networking Summit for MHEDA took place in Charlotte, North Carolina. Thank you to over 75 MHEDA Members who were able to join us, and a very special thank you to Carolina Handling LLC for hosting and sponsoring us at their facility. From February 12th-13th, we had a great time connecting and networking while gaining valuable insight into the industry.

Tuesday consisted of Carolina Handling LLC hosting attendees, educational speakers, and an exciting tour of their Charlotte facility. In between presentations and networking, attendees were invited to participate in round table discussions regarding the economy, cybersecurity, and more of MHEDA’s 2024 Material Handling Business Trends. We would like to extend our gratitude to our roundtable host and 2024 MHEDA Board Treasurer Jim MacGregor, Vice President of Operations at Toyota Material Handling Systems, and to those who presented:

Giveback Activity: Busy Bags and Wellness Bags for Ronald McDonald House
On February 12th, an opening reception took place where attendees were able to welcome one another while giving back to the community. MHEDA and Carolina Handling LLC partnered to pack over 100 wellness and 100 busy bags for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charlotte. We cannot thank those who packed with us enough for their contributions and efforts to give back.
MHEDA is full of great people and just enjoying getting to meet new people and see familiar faces from past events. Also, love the roundtables even being outside the industry from an operations standpoint. Really insightful and love hearing new ideas.
MHEDA again extends our thanks to Carolina Handling LLC for hosting and sponsoring this amazing event, and to all of those who were able to attend, making this event another success. We look forward to the 2025 Networking Summit and hope to see you all there!
