Nashville Bike Tour

SOLD OUT! You can choose to be added to the waitlist on the registration form.

Sunday, April 30 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Cost: $180 pp

Explore Nashville’s historic and eccentric neighborhoods on the city’s most popular guided bike tour! Start in the ever popular Shelby Bottom Park. The guides will take you along the scenic, paved pathways, which provide a shady and peaceful ride. To ramp up the challenge a bit and switch scenery, you will then head into the historic East Nashville neighborhood to the Fatherland District. This district was created to help startup businesses have small brick and mortar shops without the regular costs of opening a store. Once established, businesses move out to let another business have the space, so it is an ever-changing mixture of clothing, food and art stores. You will have the opportunity to stop and explore. Throughout the ride, your guide will periodically stop to point out neat views. Tour includes water and light snacks.

Grand Ole Opry Tour & Lunch

SOLD OUT! You can choose to be added to the waitlist on the registration form.

Monday, May 1 from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
(Spouse/Guest Optional Activity)
Cost: $260 pp

When it comes to events in Music City, there’s no venue more Nashville than the Opry. It’s the home of country music and host to “the show that made country music famous.” For this experience, you will be treated to a behind the scenes tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Enjoy a look into how the artists got their big breaks, see the dressing rooms that Dolly herself decorated, and see the iconic venue from a different view. You will end the tour standing in the “circle” on the Opry stage….and feel like a star! After the Opry, head over to Paula Deen’s Kitchen and enjoy a home cooked southern meal and two adult beverages.

Goo Goo Candy Making Class & Johnny Cash Lunch

Tuesday, May 2 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
(Spouse/Guest Optional Activity)
Cost: $190 pp

In 1912, in a copper kettle at the Standard Candy Company at Clark & First Avenue in Nashville, America’s first combination candy bar was invented. A roundish mound of caramel, marshmallow nougat, fresh roasted peanuts and real milk chocolate; its renegade shape was more difficult to wrap than the conventional rectangular or square shapes of the day. Previous to the advent of the Goo Goo Cluster, candy bar manufacturing consisted of bars solely using chocolate, caramel or taffy. Come enjoy a tour and candy making class! You will learn the history of the Goo Goo before making your own version. Afterwards, we head to a Southern lunch right across the street at Johnny Cash’s Saloon. Enjoy lunch and one adult beverage. There will be a 10-15 minute walk as a group to and from this tour.
