TVH recently helped the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City Olathe Chapter raise money through live, silent, and super silent auctions. The second annual Tour de Fork fund raising event allowed 285 guests to go on a culinary world tour with the help of guest celebrity chefs, Celina Tio and Jonathan Justus.
Attendees also experienced fun cocktail concoctions thanks to Crawford, Union Horse Distilling Co., Heartland Coca-Cola and Isinglass Estate & Winery! The 2019 event was an even bigger success than the 2018 event and TVH was able to help raise over $191,000.
Helping to coordinate the Tour de Fork event is just one of the many ways TVH has supported the Boys & Girls Club. Over the past few years, TVH employees have used their volunteer hours spending time with the kids doing fun activities such as summer splash days, fun winter themed crafts or sprucing the center up with fresh paint and new landscaping.
