The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact around the world and hygiene products are in short supply. Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, manufacturer of ResinDek flooring panels, is able to offer the Material Handling Industry access to hand sanitizer.
Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products’ parent company recently acquired a coating manufacturer. The coating manufacture has been able to retool, so they can produce 600 gallons of hand sanitizer per week. They are following the formulation guidelines distributed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and using 75% isopropyl alcohol. The CDC recommends the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol when soap and water are not available. Although it is not a gel, it is designed to have the moisturizing properties of a gel, the stopping power of a surface cleaner and the ability to be sprayed out of a bottle. It can be used both as a hand sanitizer and a surface cleaner.
