The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its August 2019 Booked Orders increased 58.1% when compared to August 2018 orders.
August 2019 booked orders when compared to July 2019 booked orders up 27.2%.
August Booked Orders were down 3.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 42.0% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to July.
CEMA’s August 2019 Billed Sales (shipments) decreased by 6.1% when compared to August 2018 sales.
August 2019 billed sales when compared to July billed sales were up 3.2%.
August Billed Sales were up 1.6% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 3.8% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to July.
