CLARK Material Handling Company Promotes Kentucky Assembled Products

CLARK Material Handling Company, a top-ten global manufacturer of forklift trucks and spare parts, as part of our commitment to growth and expansion of our manufacturing facilities in Kentucky has changed the Plant Code designated in the Serial Numbers for products assembled in Kentucky to “KY”.

Beginning June 3, 2019, all new products assembled in Kentucky will have this new code stamped onto their frames and data plates.

While serial numbers provide a great deal of information to manufacturers, this change – in addition to proudly promoting our work in Kentucky – easily identifies Kentucky-assembled products and provides dealers and their customers valuable information about their CLARK product, enabling prompt delivery of replacement and compatible parts.

“This seemingly small change to our processes represents a significant achievement in the overall manufacturing capacity of our Kentucky operations. We’re proud to have the new “KY” designator appear on our Kentucky assembled products.” Said Scott Johnson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
