American Logistics Aid Network Request for Propane Forklifts and Pallet Jacks

MHEDA is a founding member of the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN),, an organization comprised of supply chain and logistics associations and professionals that assist with disaster relief and recovery.

One of the nonprofits that ALAN partners with, Culture Aid NOLA, is doing a pre-hurricane season distribution event in New Orleans on July 16, 2022 where they are giving away hurricane survival essentials – shelf stable food and water, solar lanterns, tarps, etc.

To help with the distribution of these essentials, ALAN posted the following request:

  • Culture Aid NOLA is looking for loan or low cost rental of 2 propane forklifts with outdoor tires and the ability to lift 3000 lbs., and 2 pallet jacks. The event will be held on July 16, and they would like to use the equipment for several days prior to the event if possible.

MHEDA members have always been generous in their support of ALAN so if you are able to supply any of these  items, please contact: Kathy Fulton at ALAN. Contact information below.
