TrainMOR a Business Unit of Morrison Industries Launches Forklift 2.0

TrainMOR Launches Forklift 2.0 Online Certification Program

Grand Rapids, MI (September 23rd, 2025) – TrainMOR, a recognized leader in industrial vehicle operator training and certification, is raising the bar with the launch of Forklift 2.0, the next-generation online forklift operator certification program. The updated program combines high-quality video instruction, interactive quizzes, and content aligned with OSHA and ANSI requirements to deliver a classroom experience built for today’s workforce.

Under trained forklift operators can slow workflows, damage equipment, and create safety risks for coworkers. Forklift 2.0 addresses these challenges by providing operators with clear, memorable instructions that teach them to recognize risks early, lift safely, and work efficiently. Studies show that proper operator training can reduce error rates by up to 70%, delivering measurable results for organizations.

“The operator is the most expensive part of a forklift, but too often they’re expected to pick up skills as they go, which costs companies time, products, and most importantly, the operator’s safety,“ shares Russ Niedzwiecki, TrainMOR corporate trainer. “Forklift 2.0 instructs drivers on the safest techniques in responsible equipment operation as well as awareness of potential dangers at the worksite.”

Forklift 2.0 satisfies OSHA’s classroom training requirements for powered industrial truck operators, which is then paired with an employer-administered hands-on assessment to issue a full forklift permit. Upon completion of Forklift 2.0, each operator receives printed certification, and their training records are uploaded to TrainMOR’s MyWalletCard system, making it easy for companies to administer and track certification status.

“Forklift 2.0 sets the standard for online operator training,” said Scott Ahner, TrainMOR corporate trainer. “Alongside our Train-the-Trainer programs and live classroom forklift training, our program is designed to be mobile, allowing operators and companies to complete courses wherever and whenever they need. Additional resources, including monthly safety articles and our extensive video library, ensure teams have up-to-date, practical guidance at their fingertips.”

With Forklift 2.0 at the forefront, combined with Train-the-Trainer programs, live classroom instruction, and supplemental resources, TrainMOR continues to help companies build safer, more efficient workplaces and ensure operators gain the skills they need to succeed.
