MHEDA Board Member Steve Strenck Celebrates 30 Years of Industry Leadership

[CHARLESTON, S.C., June 10, 2026] Gregory Poole Lift Systems is proud to recognize Steve Strenck, Director of Sales, for more than 30 years of leadership, growth, and impact in the material handling industry.

Alongside his professional career with Gregory Poole Lift Systems, Strenck serves on the MHEDA Board of Directors and as Treasurer on the Executive Committee. In this role, he supports financial stewardship and helps guide strategic initiatives that benefit member organizations across the industry.

Throughout his tenure at Gregory Poole Lift Systems, Strenck has become widely recognized for his results-driven leadership, and he has successfully led high-performing teams across multiple states and played a critical role in driving growth and market expansion in material handling. He has served as Director of Sales since 2016, spearheading strategic sales initiatives to deliver innovation material handling solutions across the Southeast.

Strenck began his career in 1996 with Dougherty Equipment Company after graduating from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, with a degree in management and accounting. Starting as a Sales Coordinator, he quickly demonstrated strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational insight, advancing through key leadership roles including Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

When Gregory Poole Equipment Company acquired Dougherty Equipment Company in 2016, Strenck continued his leadership journey within the organization. He attributes his success to disciplined sales processes, strong team collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement—principles that have guided him throughout his career.
