East Penn Structures its Executive Leadership Team with Separate Roles for CEO and President

East Penn Manufacturing Co. is announcing the structuring of its executive leadership team to have separate roles for the positions of Chief Executive Officer and President. Effective September 29, 2025, Pete Stanislawczyk will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer and Christy Weeber will be promoted to the Company’s President.

At that same time, Chris Pruitt, 63, will retire as President and CEO and will serve as the Executive Chairman of East Penn’s Board.

Mr. Stanislawczyk will be promoted from his current role as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. He was formerly the Senior Vice President of Transportation and Diversified Sales. In his new role, Mr. Stanislawczyk will oversee the company’s Operations and Commercial areas of the business, which includes Manufacturing and Distribution, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing as well as serve on the East Penn Board of Directors.

Ms. Weeber will be promoted from her current role as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She was formerly the Senior Vice President of Finance. In her new role, she will oversee Finance, Legal, Personnel, and IT as well as serve on the East Penn Board of Directors.

Mr. Pruitt has been East Penn’s President and President/CEO for 11 years and has been with the company for over 31 years holding numerous financial positions including Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Stanislawczyk has led the organization’s commercial strategies and sales efforts through his many sales roles during his 33-year career at East Penn. He has also been an important contributor to key industry efforts, including a Battery Council International briefing on Capitol Hill, and through his service as an active member of MEMA, the Vehicle Suppliers Association; and on the past Board of Governors for the Automotive Sales Council.

Ms. Weeber has been instrumental in supporting and sustaining the company’s financial structure as well as developing new ways to bring efficiencies to its operations within her 13 years with the company. She joined East Penn as Manager of Internal Audit and has had extensive experience in auditing, research accounting, budgeting, and financial report preparation.

“It has been a true honor to serve as President and CEO for the last eleven years,” said Chris Pruitt. “I have high expectations for the future of the company. Pete and Christy will carry on the legacy and mission of East Penn alongside of a very accomplished management team and the full support of the Founding Family.”
