Donkey Forklifts Strengthens Southeastern Coverage with Florida Forklift
New dealer expands access to American-made truck-mounted forklifts across Florida.
TAMPA, Fla. – As demand for lightweight truck-mounted forklifts continues to grow across the Southeast, Donkey Forklifts is expanding its dealer network with the addition of Florida Forklift as its newest authorized dealer.
With six branches across the state, Florida Forklift brings more than five decades of material handling expertise to customers across Central and Eastern Florida. The addition strengthens Donkey’s ability to provide responsive local support backed by an experienced team that understands the unique demands of the region.
“Florida Forklift has the experience, statewide footprint, and customer-first approach we’re looking for in a dealer,” said Bradley Holder, Vice President of Sales for Donkey Forklifts. “Their team gives customers access to knowledgeable local support wherever they operate.”
Founded in 1974, Florida Forklift has grown into one of Florida’s largest material handling equipment providers. The company offers new and used equipment, rentals, parts, service, and warehouse solutions from locations in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Port St. Lucie, and Winter Haven.
Under the same ownership, sister company Ogden Forklifts will also represent Donkey Forklifts in Georgia. Together, the two independent dealerships create an eight-location support network spanning Florida and Georgia while continuing to serve their respective markets under their established brands.
“We are excited to take on the great American-made Donkey Forklift line in Georgia and Florida,” said John Gehrhardt, President and CEO of Florida Forklift and Ogden Forklifts. “We stand ready at all eight locations for sales, service, and parts for this piggyback class of industrial trucks.”

Donkey’s lineup of mechanical, hydrostatic, and electric truck-mounted forklifts is engineered to help those operations move more product with every delivery while reducing transportation costs.
