Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne Visits Shoppa’s and Advanced Intralogistics Headquarters in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Today, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne toured the headquarters of Shoppa’s Material Handling and its sister company, Advanced Intralogistics, located in the heart of the dynamic AllianceTexas development. The visit highlighted the companies’ contributions to strengthening North Texas’ industrial base through advanced technologies, automation, and supply chain innovation.
During her visit, Congresswoman Van Duyne met with executive leadership to discuss the critical role Shoppa’s and Advanced Intralogistics play in supporting manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations across the region. The discussion focused on how the companies’ integrated solutions are driving operational efficiency, accelerating regional economic growth, and helping customers scale with agility.
“Shoppa’s and Advanced Intralogistics are a perfect example of how American innovation is fueling a new era of productivity and competitiveness,” said Congresswoman Van Duyne. “Their commitment to cutting-edge technology and workforce development supports not only the North Texas economy but our broader national manufacturing goals.”
As part of her visit, Congresswoman Van Duyne toured the state-of-the-art facility, which includes an immersive product showcase, a full-service Toyota Material Handling dealership, 30 service bays, and advanced training and automation centers. The facility serves as a hub for engineering, sales, aftermarket support, and executive collaboration, positioning Shoppa’s at the forefront of intralogistics excellence.
The Congresswoman also engaged with employees during a brief Q&A session, where team members raised questions about trade policy and tariffs. In response, she emphasized her belief that tariffs can be an effective tool in compelling other countries to open their markets and reduce trade barriers.
“Tariffs are not a standalone measure—they are part of a long-term, strategic approach,” said Congresswoman Van Duyne. “When combined with slashing burdensome federal regulations, cutting taxes, and unleashing American energy, tariffs help lay the foundation for a true manufacturing renaissance in the United States.”
Jimmy Shoppa, President of Shoppa’s Material Handling, expressed gratitude for the Congresswoman’s visit and leadership: “We were honored to host Congresswoman Van Duyne and share how we’re investing in the future of North Texas industry. Her insights on trade, energy, and regulatory reform reflect the kind of bold policy thinking that supports job creation and innovation.”
Congresswoman Van Duyne’s visit reinforced the importance of public-private collaboration in driving smart growth and long-term competitiveness. With twelve locations across North Texas and Kansas City, Shoppa’s and Advanced Intralogistics remain dedicated to delivering best-in-class service, empowering workforce development—including strong support for veteran hiring—and advancing the technologies that move America forward.
