AK Material Handling Systems Hits the Courts to Give Back

AK Material Handling Systems recently took part in its first-ever pickleball fundraiser, Pickle with Purpose, to benefit CROSS Services, a Minnesota-based nonprofit supporting families in need. Several AKMHS team members—some brand new to the sport—signed up to compete in the charity tournament held at Pints & Paddles in Maple Grove, MN.

The event raised funds and awareness for CROSS Services’ mission to provide essential food services and compassionate resources to the local community.

“This was such a fun way to support a cause and bond as a team,” said AKMHS team member Adam Hasen. “We’re already talking about doing it again.”

This new initiative is part of AKMHS’s Give Back Crew, which reflects the company’s core values: Knowledge, Dedication, Integrity, and Team. AKMHS regularly supports organizations such as Second Harvest Heartland, the Salvation Army, and local food banks.
