Acquisition expands engineering expertise and project management for Integrated Warehouse Design and Storage Solutions

[WESTLAKE, OH, May 19, 2025] – Conveyer & Caster – Equipment for Industry (CC-EFI), a leading provider of material handling systems and storage solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of key assets from Morrison Company, a long-respected systems integrator known for its excellence in distribution center design and fulfillment process optimization.

This strategic acquisition enhances CC-EFI’s design and project management resources for customers focused on maximizing facility performance through advanced storage and fulfillment systems—reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in productivity. Customers of Morrison Company will benefit from expanded technical expertise, access to industry-leading product lines, and experienced regional sales and support teams—delivering added value through expert project execution and reliable onsite service.

As part of the acquisition, Steve Horton—Morrison Company’s veteran engineer with over 30 years of industry experience—joins Conveyer & Caster’s technical team. Horton has played a pivotal role in designing and managing large-scale distribution center projects, including advanced pick modules, pallet racking systems, and integrated storage solutions that have significantly improved throughput and operational efficiency for his clients.
