Morse Manufacturing Opens World-Class Manufacturing Facilities

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – County Executive Ryan McMahon joined Morse Manufacturing President Nathan Andrews to formally open Morse’s new, high productivity facilities on Kuhn Road in the Town of Salina. Morse was founded locally in 1923 and has operated continuously in Onondaga County since then.

County Executive McMahon said, “Our greatest opportunity for economic development and growth will come from investing in those companies that already call Onondaga County home and recognize the value of doing business in Central New York. Morse Manufacturing is a perfect example of what can happen when we do just that.” McMahon continued, “It is an honor to join Nate and the entire Morse team to open their impressive new facility and celebrate their success!”

Morse Manufacturing President Nathan Andrews said, “Morse has always been a native Central New York company and from this location we will continue to be the world-wide leader in industrial drum handling equipment. This highly productive factory, run by our excellent workforce, will be an important ingredient in our success across today’s intensely competitive globe.” Andrews continued, “Thank you to Empire State Development, the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency, National Grid, the Town of Salina and County Executive McMahon for your help, support and cooperation.”

Liz Richards, CEO of MHEDA said, “Congratulations to everyone at Morse Manufacturing on the Grand Opening of their new facility.  Best wishes from your industry peers and the staff at MHEDA, the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association.  We are proud to have Morse Manufacturing as a member since 1985!”
