Modern Equipment Raises Funds for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

On August 20th, 2022 Modern  Equipment Company employees (past and present) gathered at Steve McClintock’s home to help raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The evening included dinner and drinks for a $20.00 donation. They also had shot specials for $2.00, raffles of donated baskets comprised of valuable items and a number of games for fun. A total of $3,000 was raised that evening!

This is a charity that means a great deal to many of MECO’s employees. Many of our employees have also signed up as part of “Team MECO” to participate  in the “Out of the Darkness Community  Walk” planned for 9/17/22. Each of these team members are also raising money as members of Team MECO. Modern equipment company raised 8,350$ and came in 2nd place for the Omaha Walk!

This is the first MECO sanctioned charity event and was made even more special as it coincides with MECO’s 115th anniversary. It has been such a tremendous  success that there are plans to be involved with more fundraisers in the future. A BIG shout out to all who have participated!
