Michael Fritz is the new CEO of BITO Storage Solutions US, Inc. in Jessup, Maryland, a subsidiary of BITO-Lagertechnik Bittmann GmbH headquartered in Germany. In the past 3 years, he has been accompanying major automation projects and provided valuable advice for contract negotiations at the subsidiary which was founded in 2016. In May 2020, Michael Fritz became the operations manager of the US subsidiary and on October 1, 2020 he took over as CEO, thereby reaching a new milestone in his 32- year career path at BITO. Prior to that step, the industrial engineering graduate worked in the field of automated racking systems and has helped to build up this business sector over the last 25 years. “With our youngest subsidiary we have gained a good foothold in the US market. Now it is time to further increase brand recognition and benefit from the contacts we have established over the years. There are many exciting projects. The aim is both to push ahead with existing business and major projects with system integrators and to boost our business on a broad basis in order to market our entire product and solution range in the USA”, says Michael Fritz, Chief Executive Officer of BITO Storage Solutions US.
