The Gamber-Johnson thermal tablet cover is a unique solution for users in warehouses and distribution centers that store and move frozen foods or utility companies that use vehicles in wet or freezing temperatures. The Gamber-Johnson thermal cover is designed to keep tablets warm and dry in even the harshest environments utilizing a protective cover, thermal pad heater and a connected thermostat that can safely regulate the temperature of the device during use.
Tom O’Brien, regional sales manager and credited innovator of the product stated that the new solution would allow companies to better incorporate technology into their fleets where they previously could not. “The thermal cover solution allows rugged and semi-rugged 8” and 10” tablets to be used in conditions where the device might see temperature extremes as a result of the cold. The thermal cover provides a consistent heat source to the device by sensing the outside ambient temperature as well as the interior temperature of the cover.”
