
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its October 2019 Booked Orders increased 17.2% when compared to October 2018 orders.
October 2019 booked orders when compared to September 2019 booked orders were down 40.2%.
October Booked Orders were up 20.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 49.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to September.
CEMA’s October 2019 Billed Sales (shipments) decreased by 18.6% when compared to October 2018 sales.
October 2019 billed sales when compared to September billed sales were down 22.1%.
October Billed Sales were up 10.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 32.6% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to September.
