Tom Albero, CEO of Alliance Material Handling and MHEDA board member has recently become a part of the Adopt-A-Solider Platoon. He earned this by orchestrating a home repair of a scissor lift for Corporal David Bixler.
Corporal Bixler is a true American Hero who sustained major injuries while serving in Afghanistan and uses his scissor lift to keep his sprits ‘lifted’ while doing work around his house. Tom got our dispatcher Marsha Cook on the job and she sent out one of our great technicians Jerry Phillips immediately to do the repair.
In appreciation, the Adopt-A-Solider Platoon has gifted Alliance this flag that was displayed outside the emergency room of America’s largest military hospital in Afghanistan, at Bagram Air Base- Craig Joint Theater Hospital.
