Trupar America Supports its Community

Members Give Back

Trupar America has a 40-year long track record of excellent service to their customers and partners. Whether Trupar is working on a small job or with a Fortune 500 company, they deliver. Trupar is a family-owned business, and they have a vested interest when it involves giving back.

Throughout the year, Trupar America employees donate their time and personal resources to help a variety of organizations impact their community.

Trupar America is in Washington County, PA and one organization they work closely with is Washington Mission. Washington Mission helps the homeless community by providing clothes, food and other necessities.

Each year around the holidays, Trupar employees collect coats to donate. Employees ask friends, family and neighbors to get involved and each year they collect hundreds of coats. Trupar also acts as the inventory and storage facility for Washington Mission, so when coats are being collected, people all over the county bring their clothing to Trupar.

Another way they help is by helping set up a Thanksgiving Dinner. Employees meet at the Washington Mission Community Center to clean cook and serve Thanksgiving dinner for the community.

Trupar is also involved in Breast Cancer Awareness Month every October. Years ago, they purchased a pink colored golf cart that they donated to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Every year, during the breast cancer awareness parade, the foundation uses that golf cart during the parade.

“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you,” says Tom Connell, president of Trupar America.

Trupar America became a MHEDA Member in February 2022 and they hit the ground running when it comes to engaging with MHEDA members. Be sure to say hi to the Trupar team at the next MHEDA event!
