Mentoring for Women

Do you want to learn from and share your knowledge with other women in the Material Handling Industry?

If yes, then MHEDA has the program for you. It’s called, MHEDA’s Women in Industry Mentoring Program.

What is Mentoring?

Mentoring is a powerful personal development and empowerment tool. It is an effective way of helping people to progress in their careers and is becoming increasingly popular across all career fields and industries.

What is your Commitment to the Program?

Once paired with a mentor / mentee you will commit to how often you will meet for the next 12 months. It is suggested to meet monthly, semi-monthly or quarterly via phone. Calls should be approximately 30 – 60 minutes in length.  Members should be cognizant of each other’s time and once meetings are set make every effort to keep the meeting. MHEDA has several members that are mentors to others in the industry. If you are interested in being mentored, please complete the Mentee Biography Form.

Want to Be a Mentor?

To be considered as a Mentor, please complete the Mentor Biography Form. Pairing you with a mentor may take a couple of weeks. You will be updated throughout the process. Once you are paired with a mentor you will meet via phone to discuss the best approach for your goals. The commitment is approximately 12 months. It is suggested to meet at least once a quarter via phone.
