Recruiting and hiring new talent is an ongoing challenge for the industry professional. The material handling industry has been described as “hidden in plain site” and is often overlooked by students and other prospective employees who are looking for a rewarding career.

MHEDA has developed this “Gateway” site to help bridge the communication between industry and academia. There are many features on this site to facilitate relationship building including a resume posting module and a place for industry professionals to indicate their interest in hiring student interns, offering cooperative education programs, delivering guest lectures and organizing customer site visits for students.
The Gateway Program has been designed to open and strengthen lines of communication between students and employers. You are invited to participate in all aspects of this program and encouraged to share your thoughts on how this initiative might be expanded.
