Description
Increasingly, material handling projects and even seemingly "simple" sales involving racks shelving, mezzanines, overhead systems and many other products require formal building permits from a variety of government entities and agencies. In order to obtain these permits, material handling distributors often must obtain contractors' licenses, hire the services of registered professional engineers, and deal with government employees who really don't know much about the products being provided.
In this webinar, Gary will help distributors understand —
- why this is happening
- why and where these practices are growing
- implications for customers, distributors, manufactures of material handling products
- how to communicate these issues to customers, salespeople, suppliers
- resources required to effectively deal with building permits in material handling
- how to turn this into a competitive advantage
Who Should Attend
- Dealer Principals, Sales and Marketing Executives and Engineers of distributors selling projects into geographic areas requiring building code compliance and permitting for rack, shelving, vertical lifts and other material handling equipment.
What is a Webinar?
A Webinar is a virtual event where participants view a presentation through their Web-browser and listen to the audio through their telephone. All you need is a telephone line and high-speed Internet connection to be able to participate. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements like periods of Q&A where listeners can ask a question or join in the polling feature for real-time tabulation. Once you sign up for a webinar, you will receive an e-mail with detailed information on how to log in to the webinar and what number to call to for the audio portion. You will also be sent any handout material the presenter will be using during the presentation for your files.
