Leading with Confidence

Today’s workplace environment has more opportunities—and more challenges—than ever. It is important for organizations to understand and respond to this environment in a way that sets up both their employees and themselves for success. Part of this includes recognizing women currently in leadership as well as those who are emerging leaders and understanding how to promote and retain them into these opportunities.

MHEDA is excited to partner with Judy Hoberman to offer MHEDA Members a new virtual networking and learning opportunity this Spring. Judy is a trainer, executive coach, consultant, speaker and author. She is the President of Selling in a Skirt and Walking on the Glass Floor. Give yourself the tools you have been seeking to create a confidence boost in your personal and professional endeavors. Invest one-hour a week – you are worth it!

SESSIONS TOPICS

March 10 – PASSION:  Passion can keep you energized and help you enjoy what you do. It requires commitment. Others may be inspired to work hard on behalf of your vision.

March 17 – AUTHENTICITY: Authenticity can be described as the “Real You.” Each day we choose how we will respond to the invitation to be authentic. Being yourself and letting others see you is what it is all about.

March 24 – COURAGE: Courage requires us to face our concerns, address them as best we can, then keep moving forward…putting one foot in front of the other.

March 31 – COMMUNICATION: Communication is about doing our best to understand one another. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes and try to receive what you are saying in the way you are saying it.

April 7 – DECISIVENESS: Being decisive does not mean you are a control freak or that everything must go your way or the highway. It simply means you make a decision.

April 14 – RESILIENCE: Resilient people look at difficulties as challenges. Rather than allowing challenges to define them, they approach them as opportunities to grow and learn.

April 21 – GENEROSITY: Being generous is about giving without any expectations of receiving. However, being generous also means you are able to receive.
